Wiring stock tach so rpm's work..

Here is a good one....

I have heard from the grape vines that when you do a sr20 swap, there is a way on how to wire from the ecu so the rpm's work on the stock tach.

Has anyone else heard this and how would it be done?

Thanks everyone...

i'd imagine that you wire it the same way, all it is is a sensor.
I think.

Do a google search for "tach wiring"

I thought s13 were from 1991 and up. I think the ca18 engines were in the 89-90 models, or I'm I wrong on that??

89-93 were s13's (s13 is the chassis code, not engine)

89-90 had the SOHC KA24E
91-94 had the DOHC KA24DE

I'm thinking more in terms of engine and the japanese versions. I should not say s13.

sr20det for 91 and up and ca18turbos for 91 and down.

Is this right??
