It's a Valet Override. I ran the wires o an LED by the center console. Ran those wires to under the dash and saw it connected to where it was labeled Valet Override. Now, WTF is a Valet override and how do you use it?

the vallet override is basically to disable your car alarm so Vallets can move the car... simply put.

Ok, so then what's the point of an alarm if it can be turned off by a switch which is inside the car?

sure you can!

slpice it into your headlight motor power.. so when you turn your lights on.. flick the switch during mid-travel of your headlights.. BAM!! instant sleepyness

or hook it up to a pretty LED light

It already is hooked up to an LED, lol. I was thinking more along the lines of Canadian DRL.

the point is to hide the switch to a place that only you knwo about, and it comes in handy if the alarm go's off or if you lock your keys in the car. and you force your way into it...

its something that i think is poersionally needed, its a just in case thing, but to have it mounted in plain site on the dash is ****in stupid.
