well as far as those eletric superchargers go it was a good idea but not enginereed properly. a turbo still blows if you put your hand over the output .the bov are there to keep you from droping valves. you'd be beter of just stiking a modified vacuume cleaner in reverse in your intake that like the turbo still blows if you try to pug it.

its true, and ive done it, its more like every 20lbs though.

I removed the ac/ps, Heater core, i took the the ENTIRE interior out and removed ALL the sound deadining and repainted it, the sound deadining alone all together was something like 55lbs. if i remember correctly, i also removed all the interior minus the front seats, dash, and front carpet, i was very disappointed with the dyno numbers that my car was making(it was like 210hp with the CA, ill try and find the DYNO sheet), so i did all that and took it back just to see and i got like 6 extra HP....

p.s.....having a friend who manages a shop with a dyno is a plus

p.s.s.....sr's and rb's boss

Removing weight is not going to make the car produce more horse power.

Its going to make it lighter and quicker of the line reducing the weight to power ratio.

true unless you're reducing rotational mass. the back seat is not rotational mass however.

To my knowledge (in theory) is that shaving off 10 lbs off a car is better than gaining 1 (one) hp or producing an extra hp.

Yes, its all about power to weight ratio!

hell yea on the power to weight ratio, and your not actually producing more hp when u remove ur a/c and p/s or rotational (unsprung) weight, the hp is already there, your just using it for sumthing else now instead of turning a pump ect ect... for instance, to the wheels for a hardcore burnout session
