just got a 240 sx

look i just got a 240sx 1991 and i love it. im new to car tuning and need some real help. what do i add, upgrade 2, or jsut fix to make it run nicer? its real diffucult just goin by wat people say. they tell me to buy all this expensive stuff, and i jsut cant go and buy all that expensive stuff. let alone install it!!!!!!!lol look, im the new guy on the block. any tips?
it came with a twin cam 16valve engine, and needs tune up for sure. im gettin new brakes, and cold air intake, and new catback exaust. what next>? it also has 163,000 miles on it. i need some help everyone.

Well it depends how you work, you can either do that tune up and then start saving your money and build a car slowly but do it right, or you can throw a bunch of cheap parts on there that would do it for now but wont make your car nearly as great as it could be.
If you dont plan to swap the KA then start off with an intake, they are a good cheap mod, and get some headers and exhaust.
If you are not sure, get some parts that would work no matter what motor you had, suspension stuff and such.
Its your car, you gotta know what you prefer first, handling or straight line, take your time learning it.
