Excellent write-up with detailed instructions and pics. If my clutch goes out, and it will, I'm gonna attempt this myself.

I did a 5sped to my s14 recently and my CEL is on. I think it is the crank angle sensor so what do i have to do to turn the damn thing off.

i have not had to deal with that issue since i have only been primarily dealing with s13's.. from what i have gathered, there is no way of getting rid of that with an OBDII setup. you must set it up correctly.

anyone else?????

lol true, it would be easier for them to be seperate images rather than having to wait until you find or see that certain image you wanna see

Can anybody help me

I have a 95 240 and yes...it's an automatic. And yes I am the one that is made fun of for having the "automatic 240". I am really wanting to make it a manual but I am hearing so many different things. Can anybody give me advice on where I can find the parts needed and how I can do it?

junkyards are your best bet. if you are going to try to buy the parts you need from regular retailers, you might as well sell your car and buy a 5-spd, because it will cost you an arm and leg

Yeah I look on ebay every now and then and I have only seen one transmission swap. Would you know how difficult it would be to do it myself or how expensive it would be to get it done by someone else

pm sent to ew240

however, this will give you an idea of what you are in for........ nothing serious by any means. depends on how much skill/faith you have.. if you have any of either, you can knock this out in no time.

Yeah I mean that guide you linked me to is pretty straight forward. I want to do stuff to my car so bad but I feel like the first thing I need to do is make it a manual.
