na bro.... blown piston ring... minor stuff. this time i can actually rebuild the motor the last two times, i pushed rods through the block

im am fully rebuilding it. i already have another beater KA... and after i rebuild this one, ill rebuild the beater.

Damn, that engine bay is clean! I'd rather eat my breakfast off your bay than those filthy plates in my kitchen. With a bay that clean you must be a "details" kinda guy. When it comes to the details most people are like meh! Spic and span is my way.

dude lol.... im not that much of a car detail guy,,, look at my fenders.... but it was easy bro. one can of engine cleaner thats all it took.

can anyone explain why this happened? i was planning on going torbu but if this just happens out of no were, then i might just go back to sr.
i have a soch rebuilt with about 15k. stock internals. head has had a 3 angle grind and has stage two cams.

oh and sorry about ur car. i know how it feels the head gasket on my sr blew on a date.lol

its just happens bro.. a blown piston ring/land is something that happens with stock pistons for the most part... sometimes it can be brought on by running lean for periods of times..

i have been boosted since Aug 06 and beat the hell of this motor.... many guys who have built KA's hardly face this issue.
