Too good to be true?

I feel dumb asking this but I am used to dealing with ONE speed shop when it comes to the stang so shopping around for the s13 is a little odd...

Anyway, I stumbled across this turbo kit for the KA and wanted an opinion, it looks too cheap to be good but I want an opinion. I know I will still need fuel upgrades, tuning, and exhaust work but is this thing legit? Its one hell of a steal if it is. I am trying for 325+whp by the time I'm done with the project but I dont know if a T28 can actually help me reach that.

basically it's all just tubing so the only thing that you should really be concerned about is the quality of the welds.

Ok, I'm willing to pay that kinda cash for the kit. I'm still used to trying to turbo my focus I used to have.....3K for a turbo kit and the tune was crap. I am looking into the turbo I need but I have time, still working on the fricking motor. Looks like a toasted headgasket or warped head.

yea.... your numbers are very obtainiable...

the kit is good to go.. the turbos however are questionable. I had one before.. lasted about 6 months.

Thinking of buying the kit, having my friend who builds turbo bikes inspect and possibly re-tig the welds, sell the turbo on ebay and get a REAL GT28RS that will last.

the welds are not bad.. however just visually inspect them... when i had my ssac manifold i just touched up one weld.. and it was good to go.

as i said before.. the kits are very good to build around.
