nother stoopid question

does anybody know how strict the government and cops are about engine swaps an all them goodies are in washington dc or like in maryland.?

Engine swaps in the capital area is just like everywhere else...illegal, but cops don't go crackin down on it like the cops in California.

The cops will harrass you for having an aftermarket exhaust though.

If your looking for a place to do an engine swap in the area, I hear Noyans USA in Manassas is pretty good.

just dont get caught. if a cop pulls you over he might pop ur hood and stuff to see what youve got. and try to make your exhaust as quiet as possible so he doesnt have a reason to pull you over. i need to work on that, lol. my car is so loud.

haha, yea, puttering along at 7 miles an hour past cops is NOT suspicious whatsoever

Swaps in Maryland and D.C. are okay because Maryland only inspects the car Once and then do anything you want to it after that and D.C. could give a rats *** as long as you aren't trailing sparks or whatever. Virginia on the other hand is a PITA. Buts its all in who you know.
