'90 240sx Injen Intake
well i installed this injen intake for my '90 240sx. all hoses connected and secured, MAF sensor, and everything else connected properly. First time the MAF Sensor was facing upward and shut the hood kind of hard and it hit the MAf sensor but did not break. when i first started the car, the engine had a hard time idling. it would go from 500 rpms then just die after 5 seconds of ugly idling. my car idled fine when i had the stock intake in but after i hit the MAF sensor with the hood i think it got messed up? i have to rev a little when starting the car from preventing it from stalling. i then put back the stock intake and it did the same thing. sounded like it was having a hard time idling. any ideas what it is? pls help

Maybe you didnt connect one of the vacuum lines that affects your idle. I nessed with stuff under my engine bay, and forgot to connect one of the larger vacuum lines coming off of my stock intake, and it was doing the same thing. check all vacuum lines and stuff that may relate to idle.
