would this be a direct bolt in as far as the wiring goes? if not what needs to be done?
I'm new at working on 240's, thanks in advance.

i'm in the midst of a ka24de into a ka24e swap right now (91 into a 89) and the 89 tranny matches up. from what i understand all the ka transmissions are the same.

there are some wiring differences like rude says.

also the power steering pump needs to be relocated to the drivers side of the engine compartment. you'll need a dohc ps reservoir as well. i have a link explaining it but its on my computer at home, i'll post it later. you'll need the 95 ecu and dohc wiring harness too. i read somewhere that the s14 drop requires some additional work but its in the computer area and i cant recall what. i'll look into it.

good luck

thanks man, i appreciate it. Actually i plan on doing an sr swap soon, but the cars on non-op right now and i wanna do the smog and registering with the ka. i just feel like it would be easier. The motor is already in the car, just needs to be wired up.

Straight foreward swap. Wiring isn't too bad either. You may need a new bracket for the tranny tho.
