alternator plug

I pulled my alternator off and it has 2 plugs, 1 hot wire, 1 ground. On my replacement alternator, it only has 1 plug on it. What do I do with the other plug? It looks like it goes to some radiator lines or something, is it important?

make sure you have the right alternator bro.. they all look alike for the most part, but you should have every part that the original has since many alternators are just Re manufactured anyway.

d'oh! i'm seeing things, the alternator has 1 plug, the other is just a casting recess, and the other wire plugs into the bottom radiator tank housing.
