Hey, just today i installed my intake for my 91' 240sx LE. Now my car has a crap load of problems. It cranks but won't start sometimes. I also when i finally manage to make it run, when im on the highway, i start switching gears while holding down the clutch. The car just DIES. ON THE HIGHWAY. It dies when it goes lower than 1000rpm. Anyone have any suggestions or anything? Vacuum hose problem?? grrr...?

 

what kind of intake? did you check the maf?
also check for vacuum leaks

it is the mass air flow sensor ... it needs to be installed onto a mafs adaptor plate and then installed onto the new intake as well as plugged in... if you dont have it hooked or hooked up right up then the car will run like total crap... and could cause your problems...
