CEL+No Speedo+Rev Limit= : (

I got a CEL the other day and i notice my speedometer wasn't working anymore. I figured that the CEL was due to the speedometer circuit. However, driving to work yesterday i got on it in third gear and hit a rev limit at ~5,500 RPM's. I shifted into fourth to lower the RPM's and still got no throttle response until the RPM's dropped into 3k. I got on it again in second, reved out into 6k with no rev limit. Can some one point me in the right direction please. Thank You

Anthony

No, i'm ashamed to say it, but i don't know how. I was hoping someone would help me out on that, however on my trip to pick up a new door it started working again. I've gotten tips to just replace the VSS (vehicle speed sensor) and all should be well. Also gonna check the wires to make sure connections are all well.

take out your ecu and look on the backside (opposite of wiring) and there will be a little screw, turn it all the way to the right(i think lol) and then back to the left and you should see a little led start flashing. The first set of slow flashes is the 1st number and the 2nd set of fast flashes is the 2nd number. 55 = good
