sounds good, thanks for the explanation. I might get a new one and see what happens because im tired of my car not running right! arrghhh ye engine!! after all this effort with the numerous problems that been occuring i might as well of done an sr swap with all the money i been spending to get this thing running. so if it is running rich would it cause the engine to skip fires while running? because i always had a rough idle and timeing problems but since i messed with it it been seeming like its misfireing like crazy, it used to run smooth while driving just rough at idle but now its both. sounds kind of like a harley davidson going down the street now lol but i hope its something simple. thanks.

actually a lean fuel condition is more likely to cause misfires and premature detonation. if thats the case could be clogged injectors.

at least dump a bottle of quality injector cleaner into it with a full tank of 93.

I'm assuming you eliminated the AIV already?

how many miles on it?

yea the #3 injector has a leak at the upper seal, they may be clogged, yes i have already taken out the aiv, it has 165,xxx on it. i'll check out the injectors today
