Question clutch

I have a 1996 S14 with about 100,000k on it. The clutch seems really worn and when i bought it, the clip that attaches the pedal to the hydraulic clutch cylinder snapped and I was SOL. So i fabricated a new steel piece and its been workin fine. anywyas, i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good clutch kit for a replacement. Ive heard clutchmasters and pretty good and im lookin to spend 350$ tops.

Most people go for the ACT clutch kit. I've seen it as low as 339.00. I have heard good things about ACT.

You planning on putting the clutch in yourself?

I just did that over the weekend on my '95 240, and if you are, save yourself a lot of time and just take out the two rear engine mounts from the start, it's a b*tch to get the tranny in or out without that few extra inches of room, and get a transmission jack if you can.

Just thought I'd try to save someone else to headache I had to deal with.

Exedy is a great stock replacement. If you're looking for something better, then ACT is your calling.

Which exedy and/ or Act clutch is good for an upgrade on the stock engines? Want something with a better pedal fell and response. 6 puck or full face ceramic?
