Clutch Problem

okay so this is what i discovered trying to put my car into my garage.

when the car is off i can put it into 1st and the rest, but when its on i can't put it in any gears. It just won't go into any of them.

So i shut the car off and put it into 1st and then started the car and the car just start rolling without me giving any gas. (i assume its because the car was cold so the rpm was over 1K)

same goes for trying to take it out of 1st. I had to shut the car off and then put it into neutral.

My clutch pedal is basically sitting on the floor.

I have not done any services on the clutch lately...

Any suggestions?

yo rudeboy.....if u found out that if your car can't put it in neutral, after u park your car in gears, try use your toe to put the clutch pedal up....and then try it to to put it in neutral or shift to other gear...

that's why i figured it was the throwout bearing. that's it's function...it it dont release then your car will be stuck in gear. if it's not that then it's a component of the throwout bearing.....in my professional opinion

Yes, it sounds like the throw out bearing, but my friend had the same problem and he found out that his flywheel some how came loose ( the screws some how came undone.)
