Today I was reinstalling the Transmission on my car and the crank shaft sensor on top my transmission broke off.Is this bad Do I need to replace this part my father says my car wont run right or it wont run at all without it.Can some one post a reply asap.Its the Ka24de motor.

 

car wont run at all with no crankshaft sensor......shouldnt even turn over. you need to get a new one
