Unhappy Depressed

Hey all,

I write to you all with a heavy heart. My 240, nicknamed Frankenstien, has popped its head gasket. Over heating and squirking water out the tail pipe...he just doesnt run like he used to...lol.
But seriously, I plan to get the head checke out for any warping or cracks. However, i was wondering if anyone would have any suggestions to head gasket type or brand. Anything else i might consider doing while i've got the engine open. i can do a transplant of the kade..not enough cash.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

OEM head gasket, best thing you can get unless you want to go turbo

i guess if i was going to go turbo it would smart to rebuild the whole thing right now. That would mean a metal head gasket i guess. How much would i be looking @ for a rebuild kit for the kade. I would suppose that depending on what else has happen internally would depend on how much machine work i would need if any...correct??
