different pistons

ok i was reading some where if u drop sohc pistons into a dohc engine u can get around 11.5:1 compression, depending on the earlier or later models of the sohc engines. i was curious if this is true and what is the best way to get these results is and what a ka24de would be able to max out around for all motor.

I read that I can get factory pistons(flat top) and put them in my SOHC to 10.5:1 but I'm sorry, I don't know about the KA24DE.
Maybe they are the same pistons to use, but the difference in the head is what make the extra compression compared to the SOHC. Good Luck.

I think the original was 9:1 but i'm pretty sure that there was one you could buy from Nissan that raises to 10.5:1 Maybe I'm wrong(in that case sorry for bothering)

putting flattop sohc pistons in a dohc engine will raise your compression to 11.6:1.

using dished sohc pistons will give you 11.1:1.
