Unhappy EGR problems

I've almost completed swaping out my old KA24DE for and updated KA24DE out of a 95 240sx but I've run into a couple of problems for starters the EGR systems are different and I'm not sureif that wil be a problem, and Then the car spins over but dosen't start. Will there be a problem with the EGR system and can anyone help me out with my starting problem. any input will be appreciated

and hurts performance...a light gain is found from no EGR imo and many other class A mechanics for the last 20 years

I believe the visual part of a smog check requires that you have an EGR valve. If you dont care about that then by all means remove it for a slight performance gain
