electric fans--

Hey I want to change out my clutch fan in my Zenki for a electric fan set-up. I did soem research and the Flex-a-lite 220 fits just right. But it costs $225 plus $20 for the thermo switch. Do you guys know of any less expensive options?

Hey, I just installed the flex-a-lite 220s' and they work great. the only thing about it is that along the radiator hose side, the FAL fans came out to be a bit tall. I had to wedge it in between the hoses. It was cool though. they breath wayy harder than the stock belt drive fan> hope this helps someone.

Is there any noticable power differences?

Definetly. After switching out to the 220's, the motor revved a bit faster and I can feel some noticeable power differences. Just for example, My buddy has an IROC-Z, (700R trans) with my belt fans, he would pull from me but now with my 220's, I'm staying closer to his tail. He gets away from me in 1st but by third I'm on his tail. about 1/2 car length. 2nd and third definetly feel a lot better. The only other things I had done then was MT-90, Mobil 1 10w-30, and Plat. +2 plugs. and an intake. Plus there is soo much room under the hood. I can stick my head in between the fans and the belts.

sounds good, i know pretty soon i'll be swapping out, i'll probably go with the altima fans, yeah, i'm cheap. Does the altima fans hook up to factory wiring harness or do i have to by pass with a toggle?
