engine temp

i have a 95 240, and when i drive i see my engine temp needle droping to the C. can anyone help me find what can cause this problem. thanks

probably your themostat or your gauge the stock temp gauges suck!!!

gauge is just prlly crapping out, like he said stock gauge sucks *****..get an aftermarket one or an electronic if ur really concerned.

drain some coolant.

take out thermo. its easy > three 10mm screws.

make sure it is fully closed.

boil in pot of water > see if it opens.

let cool > see if it closes fully again.

reinstall, else replace. its only like 15 bucks. use rtv.
