exhaust leak problem

exhaust leak problem

would a exhaust leak cause the engine to run rich?

no, thats after all the combustion, just gases leaving the engine. Unless there's something really abstract that i'm missing here...

or if the exhaust leak is befor the o2 sensor and diluting the sample... the ecu will not see enough fuel being present and try to correct for it... i would look at a faulty injector or a bad fpr first tho...

does the 02 sensor go bad ezily on the KA24de?

good call wikd... yea, o2 sensors do go bad, especially if it hasnt been replaced in a long time

any recommendation on which to get? Theres only bosch at autozone and pepboys.

those are like 40 bux and nissan oem one is only 10 bux more

also does anyone know what size wrench i need to remove taht sucker? its hella big and i dont have one that big so i gotta buy a wrench too

If the Nissan dealership has them on hand get that, but if you get the non-oem ones just keep the reciept.

buy the o2 socket... a wrench will in most cases will just strip the old sensor... if you get the nissan one... just go to the parts store and get the right size socket...

bosch makes good stuff... buy the o2 socket or get an adjustable

Bosch universal you can get for $20.00. Cut the harness off of your old O2 sensor graft it to new sensor, and save $20.00. Get it at PEP boys.....
