Exclamation Exhaust woes

Alright i got the deal of the century when I bought a Greddy Street performance (2.5 inch i think) muffler for 40 bucks.

What i got though was just the tail section with the muffler and not the resonator midsection. Soundwise does the resonator make much of a difference?

I'm planning on bolting off the stock exhaust system after the cat and have a custom 2.5 Inch pipe go all the way to the muffler will that be too loud?

I appreciate any input also on projected HP gains from such a swap and just for muffler replacement leaving stock resonator in place.

cool ok so without the resonator you get more power that makes sense. But what about sound suppression how much difference will not having a resonator make on that Greddy? Will the sound difference be big?

Thanks a lot.

it will be alot deeper and somewhat louder
but that's a price you pay for power and performance

Yo rudeboy you were right about ditching the resonator. The greddy even without it isn't loud rather deep and mellow. I'm glad i let adrenaline decide and not ratinality on this one.
