i have a 98 with a gas light that works fine and i've pumpped about 15.5 gallons before. only reason i let it get so low was to see how much i can actually drive on E before the light turns on and it jus so happened as i was near a gas station as it turned on.

I've never filled up more than 14gallons on my 95 SE. My tank is on E right now cuz I'm trying to see if the 17gal is true. Now I found out about the 2gal res. Eventually I'll fill it up and will post the gallons. Also my light asn't come on and it's been on E for 1day aprox 10miles to and fro work. Did all 240's have the light or was it an option? Maybe my bulb or fuse is blown.
