gas mileage

i just recenlty got my beloved 93 240sx coupe about a week ago after waiting for about a month and a half. i was wondering what the gas mileage was supposed to be. it seems to waste a lot of it and i was wondering if there was a way to fix it, like adjusting the idle mixture. my driving habits arent that bad so i know its the way i drive. any help would be great.

It's supposed to be 22 for city and 28 for highway. I've measured mine countless times and it's about 23-25 mpg. I usually shift at 3k but if I have the "need for speed" I shift at 4-4.5k. Anyways, to increase your gas mileage, get a tune up, replace your air filter, or just get a new intake all together.
