Gauge install help

I just bought oil pressure and water temp gauges.
I think I know where to put the senders (oil goes by the oil filter and temp goes in the front of intake right?)
I just want to know if the ecu needs the signal from the stock senders? Can I just remove them and install the autometer ones or do I need to run a tee for them?
It's on a KA24DE if that makes any difference

Thanks!

as far as i know, the stock sending units are only for the oil pressure dummy light and the stock water temp gauge. just take them out and put the new sending units in.

ecu doesnt need oil pressure switch but itll need the water temp sensor to go into close loop.

if you want the oem warning light run a tee for the oil
