head gasket problems

If my car is burning coolant like crazy and has a horrible loss in power....then i would have a blown head gasket correct?

how hard is it to do, because i need to change my timing chain tensioner anyway so i figure while the heads off i might as well do both...

nothing like friggen car trouble!

if you know how to take your head off then all it is is swapping the gaskets. Make sure you scrape the head carefully though.

Im in the preocess of doing mine at the moment. I started it tuesday and have worked about 4 hours total on it. I have the head out. I had some antifreeze in my cylinders on top of the pistons. Now im just going to put it back together. I figure it another 4-6 hours. its easy, just have to remove a lot of ****.

make sure you take your head to a machine shop. Theyll make sure you dont have any cracks or the head isnt warped. It shouldnt cost more than $50.
