well if you have the h4 conversions, they are a lot brighter. I only had the stock ones on for like a month and that was well over 2 years ago. so my h4's are pretty good on the road. If you still have the factory sealed beam then your assesment might be accurate, but in my case in which I have the conversion your statement is incorrect.

I can't wait to get my h4 conversions in. I have to take the driver's side light assembly out of the car and bend it back to spec. I can't see any of NYC's potholes.

me and import saw the pivot setup on someones car this week... and trust me we had a few laughs man... sorry ... i still would get them... i just like the mechanism...

I don't know man. After seeing it, I don't think I would get it. A little too much for me IMHO. Rather let my car be totally asleep that just sleepy. I hate it when I'm sleepy and can't sleep, and I think the car feels the same way

but u have to admit ... his car was doing strange stuff... i wonder if all the pivot units do the same thing .. made a funny noise as well.... looked like it took some patience and time to get it to where he wanted it to stay
