Hotshot header installation problem S14 [SOLVED]

Started the installation this afternoon, I unbolted second cat, frontpipe, oxygen sensor, heat shield without any problem. Where I had some problem was the ERG tube. It just won't move. I used a 24mm wrench, I also used loose nut and heated it but without any success. I had to place everything back to it's original place and back off my installation. I follow the "how to" from Bigvinnie. Anyone has tips to unscrew that damn thing. My other solution is to go and get it installed at a shop, which I don't really enjoy ($$$).

i had the same problem with my s13 and installing dc sports headers last week...what i had to do was heat it like you did, and hit it with a rubber mallad...use the 24mm open ended...heat it, hit it, wrench myt...over and over until it finally loosened...took me about an hour and a half to get it loose...just think my car is older than yours so yours shouldnt take that long.

Do you mean to cut the EGR tube and block it on the headers like on this picture ? What will be the effect of doing that ? Goods, bads ? Gas won't be returned in?, environment? etc ?Do I remove all the tube or only cut it near the header.

After reading the fsm and looking at some other posts, I think I will cut the EGR tube and buy a new one at Nissan. This way I will be sure everything is where it should be.

If you are having to much difficulty take the hood off the car and use a breaker bar on the 24mm wrench it will come off with ease.

What I did to solve the issue, I bought a new egr tube, I cut the old one, removed everything and placed the hotshot header. A little bit of trouble with the alignement of the egr tube and the hotshot but took my time and got it plugged in. Very satisfied with this mod combined with the other ones I have.
