how do i adjust my timing on my ka24de

i need to adjust my timing on my car please help me somebodyi have a 1992 240sx se ka24de help me some if u have a tips or whatever help me

run the car til its warm, turn off.unplug the TPS sensor( attached to the valve cover hose) start- loosen distributer and turn towards bumper to retard and back towards car to advance. I think thats the direction the distributor goes to time it. youll be able to tell when u do it.

Setting the timing does require a timing light. You can get one for less than $50 from an auto parts shop. The rest is easy.

whats a good point to advance timing. how many degrees advance for optimal performance??? anyone know

optimum timing is 23 degrees btdc, with 93 octane.
