Question How do i adjust fuel from rich to lean? 92 s13

So me and my dad both have S13s and recently i let him borrow mine (mine is better) . He comes back and starts barkin about how he had to fill up the tank twice. "your car drinks up gas like a mac truck" he says. I had notice the difference but i didn't think it was that bad, it's not like the car backfires or shoots fire out the exhaust, (i heard some guys on the forum like to run rich cuz they shoot flames out the back, that can't be good)

The car has no other problems so i'm pretty sure all i'd need to do is lean it down. It doesn't burn oil, doesn't shoot flame out the back, no leaks anywhere, no engine troubles other than that.

But anyway, If those guys can make their S13s run rich, how can i lean mine down?

Get a AFC.(Air fuel controller) There might be a cheaper way...but I dont know of any. Have you replaced your fuel filter?

Check the condition of your spark plugs. If they're any darker than a slight brown tinge, then you're running rich.

You could have a fuel or fuel vapor leak. When was your last smog test?

If all else fails, ask your dad if he was wearing his lead boots that day.
