Anyone ever done it? And if so how much hp gain and how did you do it? Enlighten me upon this idea.

 

couple people have done it, not much of a hp gain, maybe 5-10hp ...itb's really arent a power mod, more of extremely fast throttle response ie. great for autoX and drift

you can search on it, most people use gsx-r thottle bodies and basically "mod" the stock intake manifold to make them work...then you need fuel management as well..theres a huge thread on zilvia but im late for class so yea..

 

mabey little more than 5-10 hp. on ziptied i heard more like 20. scootor did the itb setup on his ka and make like 155 to the wheel with itbs header and exhaust. then later made like 170whp with jwt cams.

 

Ok so which is better: ITB's or CAI with bigger throttle body plus bigger injectors?

 

thats because of the header and exhaust, not the itb's

if u were to test header exauhst and cai

then header exaust and itbs, then the gain wouldnt prolly a whole lot greater

wether a power gain or not, its so sex, insta throttle response, and sounds amazing...atleast on corollas lol
