injectors leaking

Man I found that the injectors were leaking. So no big deal I bought a new seal kit with orings and the holders put them in and the front two injectors are still leaking Everything is tight and I was very careful sliding the injectors back int the rail. I did this about a dozen times. Still leaks Does anyone have any idea that doesn't involve me glueing these things into the rail?

yea i have this same problem. i have replaced my seals and they still leak. i'm getting my sr20 this winter so im not going to bother with em. its runs rich and smells a little like gas under the hood, but i can live with it for a little. you can find someone who has done a swap and will sell you the injectors and rail for cheap off of thier old motor. or you could just keep on replacing seals.

I don't know. Doesn't make sense to me. Have you driven cars with SRs in them?

Yeah he will continue when he comes back.

Dude drive until you find a time when you have a problem with the KA. Your times are lagging you need boost to drift a bigger turn anything but "I just like them".

There are soo many other things you can do to your car to prep it for that engine.

my ka is getting old (167,000 miles). i like the ka and all, but i think with a couple of high reving drift runs, the ka will eventually die (rest its soul). i won't neglect the suspension. i know it is more essential to drifting than power is. i want a good replacement for when it does die. i am also planning a silvia conversion, which will compliment the sr20.

Its all good now The injectors were somehow worn out enough that they wouldn't make a good seal Even with new seals. So I just pulled some strings and got 2 new ones for cheap. now no more leaky leak.

170k and a long *** season of max temp drifts.

Sure it did blow up a radiator on me but the engine is doing fantastic.

that makes me second-guess the little ka motor. i'm still gonna run it till it dies, then go for a swap. nice drift by the way

VLSD action: the inside was open there.

ATS 2way action:

Wantanabe RS8s. I love those rims and will miss them.

We also run in the rain. The only time we stop is when there is lightning:

My truck is in the background with my wife in the cab chilling out.

All of these with my good old Stock, ZERO power modded ka24de. No filter. No exhaust. No plugs. No wires. No K&N drop in. The only one you could count is I have electric fans because my clutch fan died.
