installed HotShot headers today...

I gota say that I lost a lot of respect in Hotshot. The headers had 2 flaws that were noticed once we got into the muffler shop. One: The end flange was crooked! it would not fit right with the cat flange, the cat flange was straight, We tried it on and it leaked air and "farted". Another thing, the long end"the Header Pipe" hit against the bottom of the car, whoever welded thing didn't know what he was doing. The muffler guys had to cut the header and weld a straight flange, and they were nice enough to fix the pipe. Another thing: DAMN! My car is soo freaking loud now! lol, that's not the header to blame, but my straight thru exhaust. If I didn't have a cat there, I swear I would have them removed! I'm going to get a REAL muffler now, I just can't stand it, power wise, I don't knoe if I've gained any since I hate to rev it up, and there's too many cops around here.

I got charged $65 for installing the header and bolting it to the CAt's flange, $25 for cutting the bent flange on the header and adjusting the tube.

I would of done it myself, it's easy, but I'm glad I didn't since I would of ran into the flange problem. I'm looking for a another muffler now, I want a very quiet one, my bro will get it for free for me!

I have done 5 headers on altimas they are easy

I will be ordering a header for my 240 soon and also installing it myself

all of the hotshot headers I have installed on altimas were all different. some fit perfect, and some needed a little elbow grease to get on there properly, but with that being said I am real happy with them cause they perform well once installed.

Yeah! THey do perform well! I took my car out to the freeway after it was warmed up and gunned it! THere's more power in there! I can feel it! my car pulls harder when I rev it up now, it's wild! My Injen COld Ar intake helps a lot too! And my new ACT clutch performs soo well! I want CAMS next because the car doesn't want to to above 5000 rpm, if we could get that extra power from up to 7,000, then wow! these suckers would really fly!

I got the hotshot header for my s13 back in september, i didnt have any problems installing it myself, everything was fine on mine, although i did mess up my gaskets on both sides of the cat, so I have some exhaust leaks in there that are starting to get pretty bad, but yah, my hotshot kicks ***,

just installed mine on Sun. I can tell a little bit of a power increase, but I also need to do a basic tune-up, plugs, wires, injectors, etc. I'm sure once I take care of those things the car will perform great. It did make my catback magnaflow sound sick as hell!!

The only problem I had with the installation was when I hooked my battery back up and started the car, both my headlights are locked open whether they are on or off.

taking out my aiv was pretty easy, I am still trying to look for a 17mm bolt to block the whole in the cat so its no ghetto.
