Installing cone air filter on 89 240

I have a cone filter and adapter, but where do i hook up the plugs from the afm? Do i need a breather for the little pump?
Thanks i know im gonna be yelled at for posting this stupid question.

that pump is for smog purposes. if your adapter didn't have the hole for that hose then you can just stick a breather there or not even use that.

just remove the AIV, thats the little pump, you will notice a difference

now wait a minute, matt brought up the AIV, not 180; you shouldn't tell him to search when he's just asking what someone is refering to. lol, was kinda funny though.
