Which Intake?

I had another '91 s13 that I sold to a friend of mine. He wants intake, I told him to get Injen CA like I had but he says no, he either wants a JWT popcharger, AEM short ram, or the K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit. I didn't know which (if any) would be better, so what are you guys' opinions?

I have the AEM short ram, works fine. I guess any of those are pretty decent intakes. I don't think it will really matter what intake he gets.

they'll all do the same thing with the exception of the Injen Cold-Air.

ebay, unless you want an extra 1 or 2 hp.........unless there are a ton of mods already, then a name brand might be worth it.

Ebay's don't get the same response as a real intake

They are all good quality stuff. Search for more info . .

I like K&n but you gotta pay more for that . AEM is a good bang for your buck. Most people do Injen for our s13's

I went the cheep rout on my s14 with an ebay intake for around $40 with a filter. Filter was crap, but that was a given. Over all the intake was nice, looked about the same, ran good.

Where I came into problems was the fitment. The angles of some bends where off… especially where it connects at the throttle body. Because of this it messed with the air flow, so I went AEM.

AEM fit beautiful, great bends, fit perfect and no problems what so ever.

Yes. . Ebay won't fit like a real intake, same as Ebay strut tower bars.

AEM is good, like I said

I guess I got lucky when my Ebay intake fit pretty good. And then I sold it. Damnit.

Ebay strut tower bars are so soft you can bend them with your hands
