well, you need to let us know if you have a SOHC of DOHC. And personally, i'd rather but a name brand k&n air filter on the end of the intake rather than invest in that. That filter is cheap and won't help your car. I'd advise in purchasing a well known intake, or merely putting a k&n intake in your car, it will help.

An HKS filter (genuine) might cost the same as that whole intake

The piping is fine, but as stated many times above, ditch the filter for a reliable brand. That's what we did on a friend's S13, but it was DOHC.

K&N is carb exempt, and is pritty much a garunteed HP+TQ improvement, where as that is a waste of money

Yeah I agree on that fully. I suggested the HKS because I like the look, but honestly right now I have a standard red K&N on my intake pipe

ohh yeah, and besure to take out that lil silencer thingy thats behind the wheel well, if you take it out, cold air can fly right in... and make a scoop or sorts with a tube and you got your own hardcore homedepo cold air intake which will satisfy you more then wasting money OR what you can do is, when its out, break up dry ice (or cut the box open and make it resealable some how), and put it in there, so when you race, you'll have a dry ice super cold charge...
