Bryan 09-27-2005 03:45 AM

ITB's are sex...been following his buildup for awhile now

Fast1One 09-27-2005 09:27 AM

Yeah ive been looking at this one since the beginning...crazy!

Cape 240 09-27-2005 11:39 AM

WOW.
He knows how to drive it too!

Hagis 09-27-2005 05:33 PM

This is going to piss you guys off but, somone on ziptied.com made ITB's like that and ran mega squirt with it, he only made like 10 more horsepower :( .

http://www.ziptied.com/forum/viewtop...r=asc&start=60

ITB's are still cool as hell and i wish i had the skill to build and tune a setup like that, maybe some day.

But the powerband is a whole lot better. PandaS14 did this on his S14 KA and has a whole lot smoother powerband. With other upgrades to the motors, it'll kick ass.

what other type of upgrades would be needed to extract more power? I'm guessing that the ITB's broaden the torque band... (?)

isn't that from the full install writeup on 240sxforums?

Sohc newb here. Can somebody tell me if a non modified sohc would beneifit from this or if it is even possible to create a setup on the single cam similar. Also if anyone has time, to explain the idea behind the power gain and how everything would hookup.

TorqueFreak240 09-29-2005 07:13 AM

yeah you could do it and yes it would benefit from this. The more air you can pull in the better. I'm impressed and thnking about doing it myself.

I'd love to do this to my SOHC....

TorqueFreak240 09-29-2005 05:37 PM

i think i'm goiing to do this to dohc i'm installing that should pull some pretty good numbers with my turbo kit :)

CowboyTurbo 09-29-2005 05:59 PM

yeah doesn't seem like it'd cost very much to make... the fuel management and tuning part might cost some though... and it'd probably take a while to get it all setup right.
