ka24de head cylinder HELP!!

i have a 95 240sx with a grip of problems...but ima start w/ the most important problems first. the head cylinder on the motor right now has a spark plug thats stuck in it on the #3 cylinder. compression for the other 3 cylinders are ok. i purchased a used head cylinder for $91 that came with everything but a valve cover and camshafts. i was thinking that i can either use the valves, retainers, springs, ect that came w/ the head cylinder, or have the mechanic swap them with the ones that are already in my head cylinder since i know that those are still good. i dont really want to have to buy new springs, retainers, valves...ect... because if i do, i might as well buy a remanufactured head cylinder on ebay for $400. its cheaper than buying the parts seperately and it comes with a one year warranty. is swaping my head cylinder internals including my camshafts into the new used head cylinder a good thing or not?? im not gona try to race this thing or anything, and i just need it to run good, clean, and last me till the end of college since future plans are gona be a vq35de swap anywaise. PLEASE HELP!!

first i would have a reliable shop pressure test your head, then do a surface test to see if the thing is level, alot of times if its being sold for parts, its either been overheated and warped or overheated and cracked. After that you could see if the shop will swap over your parts, but any good shop will want to do a valve job too. the easiest tho would be to get that plug out, and if it strips the hole, just rethread it

Just inspect the new one and see how it looks. Go the easy route and if everything looks good use the new head and all it's parts.
