Question ka24e & ka24de

i know this is probably a dumb question but whats the difference between the 2 engines? and how do you know what one you have

if you are a 1989 or 1990 then you are single cam, if you are 1991-1998 then you are dual...the single cam engine has a black valve cover that says 2400 on it and has like 4 or so lines going up and down it, while the dual is more smoothed

ones a single over head cam, and the other is a dual over head cam, the single has like 10 hp less than the dual.
