Whats the difference between KA24E or KA24DE? Which one do I have in my 1992 240sx hatchback?

KA24E is SOHC and KA24DE is DOHC, those are the main changes. I dont know of other lil changes. 89-90 240sx has KA24E and 91-94 got KA24DE

You mean '91-'98. As for differences the DOHC has 15 more hp and 10 more ft. lbs. of torque, also early SOHC had higher compression ratios. The power seering is on the other side of the engine and the alternators are rated at different amperage. Transmissions also have different housings, while the internals are the same.
