I guess this is the official beginning of 240 ricing. But, I like to help so here goes. Here's what's up, a few things you can try.
1. Completely remove your muffler and just run a straight pipe from where you chopped off the muffler so that you at least have SOMETHING pertruding past your rear bumper.
2. You can, as aforementioned, remove your cat and resonator or get a high flow cat and res.
3. Headers increase decibility a whole lot. Headers headers headers.
4. You would be surpised how much a cold-air intake increases noise. Try one of those.
5. You could also run open manifold/headers
that'd make a CRAP LOAD of difference. Wow, that'd be ungodly HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Well, there's six ways to rice out your 240, I hope you choke. Just kidding, just think about the rice factor before you get your 240 screaming up and down the block.

Dude, if people start seriously ricing out the 240 I'd puke

The poor poor car, is it possible to adopt mis-treated and riced out 240's and take them under our care? I mean, would that be federal or state social services? I think it should be possible, like a child abuse line, except for 240's. I'd take that riced out 240 and make it look the way it's SUPPOSED to. Then I'd shoot the previous owner . . .in the toe . . . .with a nail gun . . . . from 20 yards . . .open sights . . .so I'd miss and catch him in the nads . . . and then laugh because I used the word "nads".
