Question muffler

can a stock ka24e pass smog with a 3" catback??

it's not stock with a 3" blowhorn sticking out the back LOL

But yes, as long as the rest of the emissions equipment is intact and working properly.

You might get a place that won't pass you on visual because you have your 3" exhaust on (and I still don't understand the point in that)

make sure u put on ur silencer. i have heard stories that if the exhaust is too loud, they wont test it

3" on a KA24E......GEEZ what is this world coming too.....LOL

There isn't enough curtain space in the valves to need a 3" exhaust.......

well my stock broke in half i wanna buy a 3" so when ever i get a ca or sr i will alredy have a catback

but wouldn't a 3'' pipe make ur compression lower..correct me if im wrong...

It has absolutely nothing to do with compression. It is a term called scavenging. Type in exhaust scavenging on google it will give you the termonology. The size of your exhaust does matter for naturaly aspirated...
