How much will my set-up bring me in HP?

Deccided to teardown my KA and tinker with it a little, namely the head.
--Port
--valve job
--camshafts
--camgears
--raise the compression slightly
--piggyback ECU
--headers
--shortram air intake
--engine rebuild

What sort of #s will this give me? I'm shooting for 200HP right now, and I'm wondering if this will do it.

Also, any advice for me regarding this course of action on my KA?

165 lbs torque 170 hp is my guess.

People seem to have trouble even getting n/a 200hp to the wheels even with those mods.

dont for get to do Pulley it doesn't sound like much but according to Import Tuner it gives the Ka24de 12whp. With a injecn intake, full pulley set, and exhaust they got 146.8whp and 158 torque out of a 96 with 120,000 miles on it. And with the short ram intake you are going to need to get some cold air to that at first when you first start your car you are going to get a faster throttle responce due to it being a shortram but after your engine heats up thats what you will be getting is hot air sucked in and your hp will start to drop the hotter it gets. I would suggest a intake box of some sort to seperate the hot air from the air yoru taking in. well that is my 2 cents hope it helps.

You also forgot the removal of the secondary butterfly's. What is the cam lift and duration? Don't waste your time with a standalone, your only cheating your ecu. For $290 get a biki rom. a fully retunable ecu with programming software. Biggest bang for your buck in changing your ignition and fuel maps. www.bikirom.com/

If your looking for just hp... you'll give up some torque... lighten up your drive train. Lighter flywheel(fidanza), alum/cf drive shaft, pulleys as people stated. SOHC pistons, cuz they don't cup like DOHC pistons do, more compression. Advance ur timing, higher grade octane/octane booster. Shave ur head a couple microns for a lil more compression. Gut out ur power steering, a/c, hehehe. Block off EGR, so pretty much run without emission control.

I've added a couple more things to my buildlist: KA24E pistons, HKS manifold, ITBs, and a Biki ROM. I wonder how much this will change my KA?

with the money you will spend why not just do a turbo setup? I know some people just perfer N/A power and if i could make 300whp N/A i would stay N/A prob to but with the money you will spend it will be cheaper to through a small turbo on it and get 250whp or so. Just wondering is all!

If you add turbo will it still pass smog? I am new to cars and building hp. I couldn't find a direct answer via search. At least I think I was using the correct terms.
