I do plan on going turbo on the KA though.

Oh yeah the other thing that hurts me is that dumb automatic transmission.
I can gaurantee that you are not hitting mid 15's with an auto and $600 in mods. Mid 15's is basically a cam swap, and a modified exhaust system with a 5 speed stick, and a good driver. Which I will assume that you have neither of what I just said........
I'll bet you are hitting a 16.3. Next time you go to the track get us a slip.......

The clostest track around here is about 1.5 hours away, i dont have dyno sheets of my car. im sorry that i offended every one here by talking and i will be sure not to open my mouth and insert YOUR feet. I am a broke mother ***er and all the work i do to my car i have to do myself, if this bothers you then you can shove it up your asses. i alredy said that my times was a guess but i guess that *** holes dont listen well. out of 3 of my cars 2 are manual, and you cannot assume anything about my driving you have no fucing idea who i am, or what my abilities are.

FYI i have a 2.5 inch exhaust, EGR blockoff, cold air intake, stand alone fuel manigment system (freebie) with wideband O2 sensor, alum. underdrive pulley, and hight flow CAT.

I don't think you offended anybody, but proof is always nice.

in my 92 coupe....95 KA24DE...hotshot header, NGK plugs an wires, walbro fuel pump, electric fans, AEM intake, ghetto "ricer muffler", 2700lbs, and on kumho ecsta 711 tires 225/50/15 no LSD......

15.359@90.49, 0.117 R/T, 2.158 60'

It's possible, but like BigVinnie said, you gotta be a good driver...i've been racin for about 4 years now, not sayin im a pro, but i know how things work....i think with LSD and a cam swap i would be in high 14's....

I mean seriously I research and develope unlike most people. Sometimes I feel more people spend more money on the KA than they need too, but ehh more devices more power, what ever works. This KA only had exhaust and ecu retune, but due to the amount of torque and gearing, it would smob on an RSX type-s pretty well in 1/4 mile time. I've shown this geocities 240sx a few times, but I use it to represent that HP isn't always the goal you try to achieve when you want to get good 1/4miles in NA.
Cost of a used RSX-s $8,000-$16,000
Cost of an ecu retune, exhaust, and a beater 240sx $3500.
Really the KA is worth it IMHO...
Check out 1/4 mile times and compare........

I'm planning on a KA build too, however, i'm a high-school student, don't have much money. I'm also running a KA24E
I'm planning on:
AEM SRI
Hotshot or Greddy Headers
Apex 2.5" Exhaust
High-flow CAT
New plugs (iridium) and wires
ECU Re-tune
Hopefully a better CAM
Hopefully a new crank (vinnie's got something in the works with SCAT)
Electric Fans

-thats engine wise, i also and doing some footwork and drivetrain stuff

... hopefully i'll be low 14's or 13's ... but i'm not really worried about it, i'm in it for the fun.

Hey Cape don't forget max bore, they can enlarge (bore and port) the diameter of your TB for $100. There website only has prices on the honda TB's though, but he can do the Nissans.

yeah i replied to your other post .. i'm not too sure as to what the advantages of that are. To me, i would think more fuel and air? But i could be wrong.
