if we're talking about simplicity and bang for your buck, i'd say the lt-1 would be a better choice.

i jus cant see myself with a import with a v8 in it.your pretty much givin up on the import scene and gave in to the muscles...i love beating or seeing some one with half the size motor woop a muscle .its hilarious knowing that you dont need somethin that big and makes ish loads of power jus to go fast..even on a drag strip you cant go to crzy cuz you cant hook up gotta have a balance

n/a sr's making 200+ whp?? i havent seen it?? but im sure they are out there... when i mentioned a short ram intake early i mean a real short ram like when the intake tube is angled towards the battery tray... i also thought of using crank scrapers, underdrive / aluminum pulleys, powersteering / ac removal, egr block off, more porting diy, synthetic oils in engine trans and rear end, bored out throttle body or itbs, and last but not least u could try the new e3 spark plugs out i heard v8s and can a few horses and better fuel mileage... just an idea to try, thats all i got for now if i think of anymore i'll post back up... good luck

Eric
ps car sounds great!!

na/kade bro not sr i believe thats what u meant lol thanks bro.im not to sure about that crank scraper plus thats a custom piece n would probaly be pricey. i was thinking of the short ram by the batt but how would u run that wires for the maf ??i deleted the a/c already and i have no egr with that itake mani i have..im using synthetic oils,i wwas thinking of using a q45 tb instead of bored out stock tb..the e3 plugs i never even heard anythin about them..i was thinkin of using the pulstar plugs though

yeah man sorry i know u got ur ka build going i posted eariler... the sr comment was to the guy that said na sr's make or 200 all the time..... anyways google crank scrapers cause i found some a year ago for like $100 or so, short ram intake will yield a little more of a gain mostly because the intake pipe isnt being heated up by the radiator, i have heard of pulstar plugs in mags but never in person. as far as the e3 i watched on horsepower tv they put them to the test on a dyno to verify the results.. and they sell them at your local autoparts store!!! a q45 will add my power as long as the maf is equivilant and your tune is step up for that...
oh and the s13 / s14 head dispute the s14 head has a better combustion chamber for higher compression or so i have read... search for my old thread "differences between s13 and s14 ka's "

Eric

oooh ok i knew i seen that teh s14 head was better..i dont kno y they made the ka intake kits run across the from knowin your gonna delete the stock fan n toss that fan shroud(think thats right..dont judge me).i gotta figure out how to wire that positive wire from the from of the car all the way to the trunk/hatch so i can relocate my batt

lol i dont care. personally i dont care about import or domestic im not stuck to a brand or nation i just believe the LSx motors are bad *** motors they are lighter then a KA or SR and yet make way more power and torque stock and absolutely no lag! Also a big plus is the T56 transmission is a very good 6 speed now you go find me a good inexpensive 6-speed for a 240.

btw u would never catch me in a GM i dont like their cars but i love their motors.

btw ramos i know the LT1 is a good bang for the buck and you can get a T56 for the LT1 but for me the extra money for the LS1 is money well spent just for the aluminum block and weight difference of the 2 motors

Crank-Scrapers.com, but it only works on stock cranks. FCW or Strokers will need to have them custom fit.
Also if your running the Stock G60 MAF you should look into upgrading to the N60 MAF to help your top-end breathe.

the big advantage with the lt 1 is that there is virtually no wiring needed.
