Need 240 sx help

I recently discovered a 91 240sx SE for 1500 bucks. I instantly took it to a mechanic to had it looked at and he said all it needed was a fuel pump. I got the car and its a dream, only two problems. The speedometer does not work, and if you tap the dash above it it comes on for 5 seconds and then falls, and also the driver side window doesnt roll down, its electrical and i am wishing it had crank windows now. Sounds like lose connections to the speedometer, any ideas ?

its either your gauges or speed sensor. You can fix the power window, just go to a junkyard and get the new crank

You can get the VSS from a junk yard. I highly recommend it. If you buy it from anywhere else, it's going to cost you an arm & a leg. Nissan quoted me $550 for one of those things when I don't even need it. Mucho insano!

But yeah, you could check to make sure none of the connections are loose under the car. I'm not sure how the s13 is set up.. but I'm sure the wires would be in the same spot as the s14s.

Good luck.
