Duuudee! this freaking some nice info you got right there ,both of my cars has that rattle but at this time I dont got that much time to set the cars down and get them fix hopefully I will do it pretty soon though.

Silicone.... Should you buy new gaskets instead of just using the RTV?

Or use both?

Technically you should buy new gaskets AND use RTV or liquid gasket to seal it up; even the FSM says to use liquid gasket with the rubber pieces. Depending on the age of the engine you might want to consider a new valve cover/front cover gasket also. It's dependent by the condition of the rubber gaskets in the first place.
