I'm buying a 1997 240sx and I know it calls for premium fuel. I know that the US started enforcing stricter emission rules in the mid 90s and thats the reason why many cars had changes then like the 96 supra. Anyway, even though the compression for the 97 and the 98 240sx was raised, has anyone had any problems using lower octane fuel?

 

use whatever is cheaper, unless your car is turbo or you have a swap it doesn't matter, theres was a thread recently about this, search around and find it.
